I managed to get a little time on the airplane right after work today and my goal was to get the skins back on the fuselage. First, I had to 'pre-rivet' the 704 side plates to each skin. There is no easy way to rivet these if you were to wait until after the skins are cleco'd in place. The rivets to set are called out in the plans. I may have set one to many on either side of the spar cutout, according to the plans, but I'll have to wait and see on those...I couldn't find a reason not to set the upper most rivets on each side. We'll see...
After that, the skins can go back on the fuselage. This took some finagling, which I fully expected, but I got 'em back in place.
