My friend Libby gave me a CD of Richard Cheese to listen to...I thoroughly enjoyed this CD, and would recommend it to anyone that enjoys parody lounge music...and won't be offended by the language.  It's REALLY funny, and great background music in the garage.

I just did some busy work tonight while I await the temps to come up.  I didn't like how I painted the screws in the aft tip up mounts, so I took those out, and put in new ones.  Looks much better now.

I didn't take any pics of the fuel lines tonight, but I did install the snap bushings that needed to be put in.

Then I decided to check the fit of the panel under the canopy frame.  Why?  Don't know...something to do I suppose.  It is nice to know that it fits with the canopy frame closed, and there doesn't appear to be any issues with it.

It was at this point tonight, that for the first time in the build, I felt like I was in a sea of confusion.  What do I do next?  Where should that go?  I sat in it to see if I could get a feel for whether or not I wanted the throttle and mixture to be in the center of the panel, or on the left.  Couldn't decide.  Got out, did some reading on what Van's has to say about propellers...trying to get my mind off the seemingly millions of things to do...I felt overwhelmed for the first time.

'The task at hand' I keep telling myself...the canopy.  Nothing else really matters yet, so concentrate on the canopy...I began sanding the roll bar for the bead of Sikaflex that will bond the canopy to the airframe.

I can't believe we are almost to the end of May, and we've seen 80 degrees one time.  The normal temps are in the 70's, but it seems in the past that we've always had a really warm Memorial Day weekend.  It will be a very pleasant weekend, but still in the 60's and 70's.
