5/15/2009 Tonight I got a quick hour and a half in at the hangar while Brit was doing a Mary Kay thing...I didn't want to start anything that required a bunch of time or anything that I couldn't just stop and leave. I still have some things to do in the cabin, but decided to go ahead and start working on the primer lines forward of the firewall. First I made the line from the FW bulkhead to a tee fitting...nothing is secured yet...
Then I ran the line to the right side of the engine...this side will only get one line since the other cylinder will be used for manifold pressure. It's a broad picture, so the yellow arrows show where the line comes off the tee, and where it will go in to the cylinder, as well as how it will snake around the sump.
Finally, I installed the three spray port fittings in the cylinders.
You can see the fuel lube oozing from the threads...I didn't put the oil return fittings in, and will probably pull those to remove the teflon tape... 1.5 hours |
