Just a quick hour tonight, but it was a good one! I am REALLY starting to see results with the G6 polish. I did one pass over the outboard half of the wing I've been working on tonight, and it's looking great!
The roughed up rivet lines are nearly gone left of the line, and very visible to the right. The left looked just like the right when I started tonight. This is fantastic!!
In other news...I bought a post-RV-build project this week! I've been on the lookout for an early 70's Saab Sonett for a couple of years now, and one popped up on Ebay a few weeks ago that was close enough to bid on. I bought it, and went to Grand Rapids this week to pick it up! It's a 1973 Sonett III (that one is Jay Leno's) in rough condition, but if I can build an airplane from parts, I can surely take a car apart and rebuild it! A new website will be up soon to document that!
