The hangar is now pretty much organized, so I decided to work on something tonight.  There are SO many things to do, I wasn't sure where to begin!  Hmmm...how 'bout getting that P-lead wired up first...

What about mounting the AHRS unit?  Why not?  I'm still not positive this is the best spot for this, but according to the instructions, as long as it is mounted somewhere near the center of rotation, it will be fine.  The baggage bulkhead is probably at the aft end of this range, but many people seem to be putting it in this vicinity.  So I built a little shelf for it to sit on.  I plan to attach the AHRS unit with Velcro...as recommended from MGL.

I used the digital level to find the deck angle of the fuselage along the longerons earlier, so I made the shelf the same 11.0 degrees so it will be level when the fuselage is level...

I haven't brought my hardware bins out to the hangar yet, so that's where I stopped with that for the night.

Next I worked on the rudder trim system.  This system is from M.L. Skunkworks, and it is stone simple.  Two horns are attached to the rudder bars, and a wire is run to a pulley to put spring tension on the rudders.  Simple, easy to install, and it supposed to work really well.  I got the horns installed tonight...

It was getting late at this point, so it was time to close the hangar and head home.
