I had just a quick couple of hours available this morning in the hangar before we headed out of town to Wisconsin for a dog show...at Bong State Recreation Area...as in the one and only Richard Bong! Anyway, I finished the rudder trim by installing the cables and tensioning the springs.
Then I fit the floor cover in the center forward fuselage (no pic), then started thinking about the smoke tank location. I had initially thought of putting it on that cover, but then realized it would fit in front of the firewall at the top left...
It's just sitting there for now, but I'm gonna see if this would be a good spot for it after some research...
Then I drilled the holes for the primer lines to go in to/from the manual primer pump thru the firewall, and loosely installed the bulkhead fittings.
I can't tighten those by myself since I can't be inside the airplane and in front of the firewall at the same time...who knew!?
We're off to Wisconsin!
