I'm finding that I'm doing a lot more starring at the project now. Where should this go? What about that? If I put that there, how is that other thing going to work? Those kind of things...
Today, I was looking over the plans, and decided to start working on the fuel selector installation. I found the bag with the valve in it, and removed the handle. I bought the Cleveland Tool handle to replace the factory el cheapo, so that will go on after the valve is in. I plugged the port (red arrow) that does not get used, and I made the little F-783D spacers for the bolts.
Now to install them...nope, I haven't yet drilled the holes for the valve stem or the bolts, and I haven't painted the plate yet. So, I did that, and now it's drying.
After searching for something else to do, I decided to look for a new spot for the strobe power supply. Why? Well, the power cables are only 15' long, and I need about 18' to get them to the power supply behind the baggage bulkhead. So, I'm now wondering if this location will work-
I'll need to post this question to the online groups to see if there is any potential problem with this location. It would be boxed in with a cover.
Since I had the center tunnel cover/heat box out, I also bent the tabs for the heat to flow in to the cabin.
Hmmm...now what?
