11/23/2007 Not much time to work today around house work and yard work. I did get my transponder antenna in the mail today though!
As far as construction goes...well, the parts left are few, but since I've made a decision on an engine, I realized that I needed to make the doubler for the aux fuel pump. This is only needed for carbureted engines for the Facet low pressure pump mounts. I didn't make this before because the firewall was being built when I was planning on a Subaru engine.
That will get installed and the fuel pump is on it's way from Van's. When that gets here, I'll mount that and hook up the fuel line. After that??? Don't know, that may be it until January... EDIT: The platenuts are incorrect. I thought about this as I woke up this morning (11/24). I went to the plans, and sure enough, the platenuts go on the forward side of the firewall. It's not clear in a couple of pictures, but the side view of the firewall (DWG 19, I think) shows them in the correct position. 0.75 hours |
