Tonight I removed the seats to put them back in storage...but last night, Brittne and I climbed in the airplane to see how much room we'll have...she liked it!

We sat there for about 10 minutes, and she commented on how comfortable the seats were, and that the room was going to be fine.  Sweet!

Once she climbed out, she snapped a shot of me...

Back to tonight...I was hoping to get the carb box installed, but I think I have a problem.  The mounting plate appears to be too small.  There are obvious edge distance issues here, so I'll have to call James Aircraft to get their thoughts on this.

So, I set that aside for now, and worked on the intake.  First I marked the cut line for the carb heat door.

I don't know if I need to make the cutout the door, or if I make a door from AL sheet, or what.  That's the problem with buying this second hand, but I'll figure it out.

One easy thing to do tonight was to rivet plate nuts to the rear plate of the intake.  I need to buy a K&N air filter to fit in here at some point, but at least I have something to show for my time tonight.

SCAT tube attaches to the rear flange to run to the carb box.  I may need to bring the cowl home to get a start on that as well for fitting all of this.  The plenum will be worked on soon as well, so I should probably fit it.

Oh yeah...VOTE TOMORROW!!!!  Or TODAY if you read this on the 4th...
