Well a week flew by, and I wasn't able to get to the hangar at all...today I have the time, and it's miserable out.  42 and rain = a really chilly and noisy hangar.  All I did today was install the bottom rudder cap and prep the airplane to move it to the big heated hangar at work sometime this week.

The rudder bottom was a simple matter of rolling the wires inside, and riveting it in place.

I'm not sure I like how the wires go in to the cap, but I did line the fiberglass with some tubing and "glued" it in place with some clear RTV to keep the wires from chaffing against the sharp edge.  We'll see how that goes...

I also spread some epoxy with flox in to the holes I made to fit the nuts for the tail light.  That should keep the nuts secured so when I need to change out the light, the nuts stay in place.  Again...we'll see.

Then I threw the cowling and prop on the airplane, and moved everything out of the way so I can pull it out later this week.
