Finally back at it! We've been in Kansas City for the last four days for the Golden Retriever National Meet, and I am exhausted from the driving. But, we're home, and I have an airplane to build! I could've spent the entire day working on the wings, but it was SO nice out, I had to take the boat out for a spin! When we got home, I did get some time in the shop while Brit was at puppy class. I started riveting the last bottom skin in place tonight. I hung the skin from the ceiling with some 18AWG wire, which works REALLY well. No tying is needed. Just slip the wire through the dimpled hole, and it "grabs" on. Neat trick!
It was great to get working on this again! I should get a lot of time in the shop this week with the temps being great for this time of year!
