10/14/2006 BIGGER PICTURES!!! I didn't have a whole lot of time today to work, but I did manage to grab a couple of hours this afternoon to drill the aileron skins to the skeleton. Part of this includes drilling the galvanized water pipe that is the counterweight in each aileron. Lot's of Boelube here.
After those are drilled, the trailing edge comes off to drill the nose ribs to the pipe.
You can see that you have to go through one of the holes in the spar to get to the pipe, so a long 1/8th bit is needed here. That's all I got done today. Hopefully tomorrow will yield more time.
