Ailerons are done!!
I started tonight by removing the aileron brackets altogether. I can't figure out why Van's would have you put them on when they do...Anyway, with those off, I finished riveting the bottom main ribs to the skin on the left aileron, and then set up the "jig" to rivet the bottom side with CS-4-4's pulled rivets.
I used the level a bunch of times to make sure this thing didn't move. I then reinstalled the aileron brackets, but did not torque them yet. Other than that, the ailerons are complete and straight!!
With those finished up, it's on to the flaps. I didn't do anything more than deblue and label them tonight.
