I started out this evening by drilling the hole in 706BL for the platenut to 1/4".  The pic is a little out of focus, sorry...

Next, I primed 706AL to prep for riveting it to the spar.  While that was drying, I riveted 706BL to the inboard rib and installed the platenut.  I made a small mistake by forgetting to dimple the hole in the rib for one side of the platenut.  I'm guessing they have you do this because there really is no access to get a 470 rivet set in there.  I had to modify it a bit, and put the manufactured head of a 470 rivet on the inside, and I ground down one of my flat sets to squeeze the shop head.  Not sure if you can picture that, but here's the end result.  The rivet all the way on the left is the one that should be flush, but instead has a shop head on this side.  From what I can tell in the plans, this won't make a bit of difference.

Then I riveted 706AL to the spar.

When this is in place, you can now drill 706BL to 706AL...

After all that, I disassembled the right flap and repeated these steps.  Here's the right 706BR with the properly fit and set 426 rivet holding the platenut.

I started deburring the rest of the parts, but didn't get all that far.  Looks like tomorrow night will be mostly a deburring night...
