10/17/2007 Tonight I started drilling the roll bar to the attach brackets. There is a specified order for drilling these holes, but it's easy to follow. First, the forward holes were drilled to #30 using the pre-punched holes in the skins.
Then the skin is peeled back, and the rear holes are drilled to 3/16ths and countersunk for the screw that goes underneath the skin and spacer.
Then back to the forward holes to drill those to #19 for the #8 screws. My extra spacer was countersunk for the dimple that will go in the skin for the screw that will be on the outside. I did this on both sides. Easy peasy! I still need to drill the inside of the roll bar, and dimple the skin (forgot the #8 die at work). 1.5 hours |
