10/19/2007 Quick night tonight, but I did finish up the roll bar fitting/installation. I started by removing the forward aft top skin, then drilled the 732 spacer front holes to the 732 brace. These come pre-punched, but needed to be opened to #30.
Then I drilled the inside holes on the roll bar.
With those holes finished up, the cabin frame/roll bar is done.
I removed everything to deburr, and do some countersinking and dimpling.
The skin and roll bar frame will stay off the airplane for a while, but I'll probably paint it this weekend. The interior is a MESS from all the AL shavings! 1.5 hours |
