I didn't think I would get to work tonight, but my evening plans were cancelled right at the end of the day today, so with Brit at the club with the dogs, I went to work!  Oh, we had a great weekend over in Indiana with the dogs, and pics can be seen here (soon).

Tonight I got the engine control panel brackets installed.  The rear (the one mounted on the panel) was first.

Then the forward bracket was done.  I modified it a bit to allow for the SL-40 comm to go thru the panel.

Then I ran the throttle and mixture cables to check their fit and length...

The throttle cable seems short, so I need to make sure I have the right one.  Not a big deal at this point, but it's not long enough to reach the carb, and be clamped to the forward bracket.  We'll see.  Here's where they come out of the firewall, and mount in the engine mounted bracket.

My firewall forward fuel and oil lines came in from Bonaco on Friday last week.  These are gonna look really cool!

I really like the silver fire sleeve that they use!

I'd be surprised if I get any more work done on it this week...maybe not even the weekend, but ya never know!
