I didn't work any where near as much as I had anticipated I would this weekend because I felt bad about making Wiley hang out in the garage with me. He is bored out of his mind, and I can't be that selfish. So, I only worked for an hour and a half today and got the throttle and mixture controls hooked up to the carburetor. These are not tightened down yet, but the fit is very good. I was worried about the length of the throttle cable, but once the rod end bearing was put on, it's plenty long enough.
I also hooked up the cabin heat cable to the heater box. I need some bigger clamps to secure this, but it functions nicely. I just noticed in this picture that I need to change out that black Adel clamp for a white one...
Then I hopped in the cabin to tighten the controls to the bracket. I need to fab up a reinforcement for the bracket so it doesn't move in and out when controls are applied. Another day...
