October 2008 October 2nd Made engine ground, battery negative ground, and starter power wires, installed October 4th Alternator brackets, copper contactor bars, installed Vetterman exhaust October 5th Installed LSE brain box, visit from University of Illinois Student Aircraft Builders October 6th Torque'd exhaust down, LSE mag hole cover, alternator bracket October 9th Engine control bracket October 13th Installed engine control panel bracket, throttle and mixture cable fitting October 20th Alternator install...finally, oil pressure line, engine breather tube October 23rd Finished alternator install, fuel lines October 24th Final installed fuel lines, fuel pump overflow/drain, fixed cabin heat muff October 25th Changed all tie wraps to Adel, safetied some stuff, ran carb & cabin heat cables October 26th Hooked up throttle and mixture cables and cabin heat, tightened controls October 30th Clamped cabin heat cable, re-routed fuel pump drain, made heat shield
