This morning after our Chapter breakfast I had a few hours to work on the airplane. Just for the fun of it, I did figure out the wig-wag problem I had earlier in the week. It usually helps if I HOOK UP THE LIGHTS to the wig-wag flasher... Anyway, I went ahead and pulled out the wig-wag flasher and diode for the landing lights because the new LED's have wig-wag built in to them. After that was done, I started running new wiring in to the wings. The wires that were in there were 18awg, and the LED's call for 20awg. This took a while to do, but eventually they were run in both wings. I also ran the wires in this group for the nav lights. I still have to run the strobe wires though.
Here are the AeroLED 1600's that will replace the halogen driving lights that I have in there now.
I did hook these up this morning to test them, and they are BRIGHT!!!
