10/16/2009 It's cold. It's cold outside. It's cold in the hangar. Cold. Not fun. I'm gonna move my airplane down to the heated hangar at work at some point in the near future so I can continue to work over the winter. It's only down in the 40's right now, and if it's this cold in the hangar at that temp, there is no way I can work in there when it's in the 20's and teen's...not gonna happen. Anyway, tonight I continued work on the AeroLED install. Here's a pic of the brackets I made for the left side light.
The right side is installed...wired, and bolted in.
I decided not to use the Molex connector here. I just used spades and fast-on's, heat shrink, and electrical tape. Easier to service down the road if you ask me. The left side light is just about ready to wire and bolt in, but it was getting late. Tomorrow I hope to get the light installed, and then work on the switch end of the wires. 3.75 hours |
