This evening was time well spent in the chilly hangar.  Not as cold as last night...I spent the evening getting the left side AeroLED light installed.  Once the wires were connected, and light was in place, I worked on wiring up the switch.  The S700-2-10 switches are getting easier to wire now that I understand how they work!  So, with wires hooked up, and flip of the battery switch, a second flip of the landing light switch to the middle wig-wag position, I had functioning lights!  The wig-wag took about a half second to sync up, and worked flawlessly.  The upper switch position is lights on, that worked fine as well.  I wired the panel caution LED light to come on only when the wig-wag is on.  Reason being, I figure that will be more of a daytime use position, and I didn't want another LED staring in me in the face at night when the landing lights are on...plus, I should be able to tell when they are left on in the dark..

Kinda cool how the focused beams of the LED's show up on the lens.

Also interesting is the square brick of 8 lights produces a round beam in total...very bright too!

I'm REALLY happy in making the switch to these LED's!
