10/28/2009 I finally had a chance to run down to NAPA today to get the brass fittings I needed to finish up the manifold pressure lines. I also changed the AN816-3D fitting on the #3 cylinder to a -4D for the hose to connect to.
Then I installed the two brass fittings that will "T" the manifold pressure to the RDAC for the Enigma and the Lightspeed ignition brain box.
I had to heat up the tubing to fit it over the barb pole on the brass fitting, but then it slid right on. One side runs right to the RDAC, and the other goes thru the firewall to the LSI box.

Other than final adjustments, and a few rivets here and there, FWF is DONE!! The last thing I did tonight was install the strobe power supply behind the passenger seat. I made new brackets from some z-channel that my friend Larry (www.rv7x.com) gave me that he had left over from his tanks.
I scuffed up the paint because I think I am going to ground the strobes here locally on the brackets. This is going to make for some carpet cutting to fit here, but it's a good spot out of the way. 2.0 hours |
