Other Stuff-NEW! |
We have been owners in two airplanes previous to my current project. The most recent was this 1968 Piper Cherokee 180D.
These pics were taken during an air to air photo shoot with a friend of mine, Lee Moulic, in his Turbo Arrow III, and my dad behind the camera. I did my instrument training in this airplane, started my commercial license in it, and flew it to Florida, Oshkosh, and all over the state of Illinois. My three partners (at the time) and I took this EXTREMELY clean airplane and did a complete firewall forward. I built some metal working skills by building the baffling from scratch. One of my partners was (is) and A&P, so we had a watchful eye over us at all times. I learned a lot from that project! This is our first airplane, a 1974 Piper Cherokee 140. We owned this with 5 partners, and I started my instrument training in this airplane. We only had this one for about a year and a half.
