9/22/2006 Well, that was a long break! For those of you wondering...I had to take a trip to Florida this past week for my Grandfather's memorial service. He was 87 years old, married to my Grammy for 65 years, and was a great family man. He had Alzheimer's disease, and is in a much better place now. We'll miss you Grampa!! I didn't get much time in the shop tonight, but I did manage to tie the inboard skin for riveting, and set a few.
You may or may not have noticed that the shop has been rearranged yet again to accommodate the boat we bought. I still have plenty of room to finish the wings and store them. I also should be able to get a good start on the fuselage before rethinking the shop layout again.
Looks tighter than it is. I move the boat about five feet forward with the garage door open, and that gives me the space I need. The backrivet table will be an issue to resolve since the boat is blocking access to it right now... 0.5 hours |
