Tonight brought back some memories!  I hadn't seen the horizontal stabilizer and elevators for almost two years, so when I brought them down from the airplane storage room, I had to take a close look to see what I had done back then.  Not too shabby actually!

I slid the elevators in place next, and installed an AN3-7 bolt in each bracket/rod end bearing to hold them in place.

Then I clamped them neutral at the tips.

The elevator arms are individually welded, so they aren't expected to be the same, but mine are actually pretty darn close!  I couldn't tell until I looked at this picture that it looks like the one on the left is farther aft.

Just barely, but I think I'll use the left side to drill the first hole.  I may not get to this for a couple days, but that's okay...I need to do some reading to figure the best way to do this.  I think I'm going to borrow a straight flute drill bit from Rob to make it easier.
