Finally back to work on the RV!!  I got my sealed bearing tailwheel from Just Plane Works this week.  This thing is NICE!  No grease ever needed, and no service until it needs to be replaced.  It also comes with paint-able hub caps if I want to put them on.

Today I finished up the mounting (fitting) of the vertical stabilizer.  The lower spar holes were first on the list.  I measured these several times, and made a bunch of marks to figure out where they needed to go.  When I was finally ready, I drilled them to #30 first.

Then I removed the VS to drill that top row of holes on the front spar to F-781 bracket.  The only way to get to those was to remove it, and drill them on the bench.  I didn't take a pic...

Then I reinstalled the VS, and drilled the lower holes out to 1/4 for the AN4 bolts.

Those are junk bolts, so they are not the proper length.

The only other thing I got done today (and it wasn't quick...), was hanging the rudder.  This was quite the process to get all the rod end bearings positioned properly.  When all was said and done, the rudder swings freely with no binding.

I started to mess around with the rudder stop that I got from Jeff Bordelon, but I have a couple questions for him before I install it.
