Tonight was empennage removal night.  The rudder first, then elevators, vertical stab, and horizontal stab all came off one at a time.  I deburred the holes I drilled as I went along, then used the air hose to blow out all the shavings from the fuselage, and vacuumed the pieces that wouldn't come out.

No more tail...

I also primed and riveted the F-781 plate to the VS spar.

For the next few weeks, probably most of October, I'll be concentrating on 'The List' of things that I want to get done before the rear top skins are riveted on.
