I started today with the platenuts that go on the top side of the wings for the wing root fairings.

With those finished up on both wings, there is nothing left to do on the wings until the very end of the build, so I covered them up with plastic to keep dust and bugs off.  We'll see how well this holds up over the next two or three years...the long board across the bottom is to keep the car door from denting the wing (...'cuz I can see it happening!).

Don't know why I didn't take a pic of the other wing...anyway...

I installed the TruTrack pitch servo mount in the fuselage next.  This, again, is very straightforward, but a little more work than the roll servo mount in the right wing.

First, I started out by making a line at 2.8" from the center of the bellcrank.  Ignore the double line, the one on the left is correct.

Then the four rivets to the left of the line get drilled out.

Next, I clamped the mount to the bottom rib to drill them together.

Here the four top holes have been drilled, and I used longer clamps to keep the bottom as tight as possible to get zero slop in this mount.

The bottom holes were then drilled.  There is no measurement given here, or even what rivets to use, but at this point in the game, it's just a matter of experience to know what to do.

Then I riveted the top row of four, but had to leave the bottom rivets until I can get a helping hand over here...

I did drill the hole in the bellcrank where the pushrod will attach, but didn't take a pic of that.

Next will be the fitting and attachment of the empennage!
