9/26/2008 It wasn't stolen! The mini crisis of the missing transponder shipment is over! I took a long lunch today to make sure I was home for another UPS delivery to meet the driver. I asked him if he delivered a package here on Wednesday this week, and he couldn't remember dropping one off here, but remembered being in the neighborhood. At his suggestion, he drove a block over to another house with the same address number, and found the owner of the house had placed the package in their doorway, and was home. Woohoo! It was an honest mistake, although it shouldn't happen, especially UPS. We have this happen frequently with the Postal Service, but not UPS (or FedEx). Anyway, I had a huge wave of relief come over me when the driver knocked on my door a second time with the package in hand. Call off the search...
This unit is an AR (as removed) transponder from a 310R that had an incident. It's virtually new, and looks that way. Included is the tray, harness, and plug. Also, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this is a 320A model, when I bought and paid for what I was told was a 320. The 320 is the original Garmin transponder, while the 320A is the newer, current production model. I'm VERY pleased with this purchase! Oh, and it was only $725!! Sweet! |
