I didn't think I'd get any time in on the airplane this weekend, but I snuck an hour in this morning before I had to go out to the kennel club to help Brit with the Wellness Day program.
My 2nd of four eyeball fittings came this week, so I stuck that one on for the time being. I still have to seal these with fire sealant, but I wanted to make sure they are positioned properly first.
I also hung the carb and engine controls bracket. I didn't bring home the correct hardware for this since I didn't think I'd work on it this weekend, so I just hung it with the nuts that shipped with the engine. I'll get the right one's tomorrow, and torque it all down.
There are two gaskets that are installed with this bracket and carb combo. One is between the sump and bracket, then another between the bracket and carb. I also may need to back the stud out of the sump a little to get the right amount of threads showing on top of the nut. We'll see, it may all come together without any adjustment.
