Tonight I started off by re-installing the fuel line from the fuel flow to the fuel pump. It came back in the mail from Bonaco, and the length is much better now! No pic though...
Then I wired up the power wire for the fuel flow meter to the main buss.
After that I started working on the EGT probes by drilling the holes in the exhaust pipes. Once those were drilled out to final size, I installed the probes. The probes are to be installed 1.5-2" below the exhaust port for the most accurate reading. It doesn't matter where you put the probe laterally on the pipe, but they all must be in that range, and if you picked 1.75" like I did, they all have to be 1.75".
Next it was on to connecting some wires to the CHT probe leads. I now have wires hanging off the engine on both sides...kinda messy right now...
I didn't have enough Adel clamps to put these wires in place tonight, so I'll grab some of those, and work on that next time.
