Before I get to today's work...on Friday last week, I had one of our guy's at work paint my plenum for me with AZKO to seal it.  I'm not counting it as work on the project since I didn't actually do any of this, other than set it in place to take a couple pics...

Skip ahead to Sunday evening, and I was out at the airport for a very special occasion!  My hangar neighbor, Terry, made his first flight in his 7A!  What an exciting day!  That was the first first flight I had witnessed, and it was quite nerve wracking, and VERY motivating for me on the sidelines watching.  All went well though!

A few seconds before engine start...

Rob and Christine in chase #1...

Jack and Terry's nephew, Brian, in chase #2...

...and Terry's RV grin after the 25 minute flight!

HUGE CONGRATS TERRY!!!!!!

Moving on to tonight...first I installed the clamps on the air box brackets that I put in last week.

Then I routed the mag spark plug wires.  I had to turn the Adel clamps that I installed the other day around in order to put the plug wire clamps in.

Since I'm only using one mag, the wires on the left side of the engine are a little short (they normally would go to the top plugs, which is a shorter run).  I'll have to wait until plugs are in the bottom of the cylinders to see how they will work.
