With so little time on the project lately, I wanted tonight to be a good night before we head to Madison, WI for the weekend.  It started off okay, and ended okay, but man I got frustrated at one point...

First thing tonight I reinstalled the fuel line from the gascolator to the fuel flow sender after covering it with fire sleeve.

Then I started working on the lower baffle wires.  Here's where I got really frustrated.  I had a hell of a time getting them to tie together tight enough to work, and right when I was about to give up and head home for the night, my friend Jack showed up with a cold Coors Light.  He made a quick phone call to Jeff Swords in Georgia to get the proper instructions on how to do this (we couldn't figure it out), and we were off.  It took three tries on each of the left side cylinders to get it right, but we got it.  The right side was a piece of cake.  So, without further ado...

The lower baffles are done!  The only other thing I did tonight was to put some nylon tubing and RTV in places where the wire rubbed the inner baffles and oil return lines.

The evening ended well, and I owe it to Jack!
